Web...

In 2009, I expressed a great interest in web design and front-end development after completing a client base project as a part my ICT course. From which, I was awarded the outstanding achievement in ICT for his web development work.

In Septemeber 2009, I started my university degree; Web Technology BSc (Hons) at the University of Lincoln. I graduated in September 2012, receiving a 2:1 class honours degree. At university, I researched topics surrounding; HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), Usability, Accessbility, the Power of Social Media, Web Design and Front-End Principles and Mobile Applications.

In August 2012, I greatly expected the job a G-Forces Web Management Ltd. I joined as a Junior Front-End Developer and worked my way into a Mid-Weight position. My job was to build and develop web solutions for the automotive industry, helping to promote the selling of vehicles through the use of digital and mobile technologies and media. I have worked on multiple client projects, using the NetDirector software, belonging to highly successful dealerships based with in the UK and within the Middle East. Between 2012 and 2013, I have worked upon delivering 35 new websites for; GK Group, Beadles, Caffyns, Fish Brothers and many more. This figure excludes mobile sites, trade sites and parts shops.

During my career at GForces, I have been honoured to work with prestige clients such as; HR Owen, Peter Vardy, Jardine, Marshalls, Charmans and even Lookers.

In 2014, I was introduced to the new V10 platform and LESS (a newer way for writing CSS) and helped to deliver a series of websites to Vauxhall Dealerships.

Photography...

I am a self taught photographer. Photography became my passion in 2008 after taking pictures for BBC Kent, I had my name mentioned on the TV and on the Radio. After receiving a Canon DSLR as a gift in 2009, I has been involved in a variety of projects, from photographing local performances at The Sinden Theatre, live music gigs/events, photoshoots for Nextinct.

I photograph a range of subjects, from, landscapes to portraits, to macros and even photograph at sporting events, such as; British Touring Cars and British Superbikes.

In August 2011, I carried out a photoshoot of the band called the Virgin Soldiers. The location for this was in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The band saw my photography portfolio on Flickr and this how they came into contact with me.

As well as photographing the band, I was involved within their promoting and the re-branding of their website. During my time working for the band, I had the opportunity to act as a cameraman, meet their manager and their web and graphic designers; and work alongside them.

I introduced the band to university friend called Rose Sturdy. At the time, she was studying illustration. She was tasked with making each band member as a puppet in aid for a music video and re-modelling the band’s image.

Finally, Just before I left, to go back to my studies at university, I greatly accepted the opportunity to help them out backstage when they supported McFly.

In March 2012, I was asked to carry out a photoshoot of the cast of, ‘Alice In Wonderland’. The photographs from the shoot were used in the promotion and advertising of the performance that took place on Friday the 11th 2012, in Folkestone.
